# Inbox: approving posts

> Reviewing pending videos in Selective and Hashtag tracking modes, and using bulk actions.

## What is the Tracking Inbox?

The **Tracking Inbox** is where videos land when they need a human decision. Because tracking mode lives on the account (not the creator), different accounts on the same creator can behave differently.

Videos arrive in the inbox from two tracking modes:

- **Selective**, *every* discovered video starts as `pending_review`.
- **Hashtag**: only videos whose caption does **not** contain a tracked hashtag, and only when *Send non-matching videos to the Tracking Inbox* is enabled. Videos with no caption at all also land here (see [Hashtag mode](https://www.trackagoat.com/docs/guides/accounts.md#hashtag-mode)).

Either way, a `pending_review` video is **not** included in campaign or project stats until reviewed.

Navigate to **Tracking Inbox** in the sidebar.

## Reviewing videos

Each inbox item shows:
- Video thumbnail and title
- Owning creator and the platform it was posted on
- Current stats (views, likes, comments, shares)
- Post date

Click an item to open its details. For each video you can:

| Button | Result |
|--------|--------|
| **✓ Include** | Sets status to `included`. Video counts in all stats. |
| **✕ Exclude** | Sets status to `excluded`. Video is hidden from stats and the API. |

## Bulk actions

To review many videos at once:

**Step 1: Narrow the list**

Pick a creator in the creator filter, or leave it on all creators.

**Step 2: Select videos**

Check the boxes on the videos you want to act on, or use the checkbox at the top to select every loaded video.

**Step 3: Include or exclude**

Click **✓ Include** or **✕ Exclude** in the selection bar, then confirm.

To include every pending video from one creator, pick that creator in the filter and click **✓ Include All**.

> **Tip:**
>
> If an account regularly posts content that's always on-topic, switch it to **Auto** tracking mode instead of approving videos one by one. The Tracking Inbox is best for accounts that mix relevant and off-topic content.

## Filtering and sorting

The Tracking Inbox toolbar has:

- **Creator filter**: show only videos from one creator
- **Sort**: **Newest first**, **Oldest first** or **Most views**

## Excluded videos

Click **Show Excluded** to see videos you've excluded. Select one or more and click **↩ Re-include** to put them back in tracking. Click **← Back to Inbox** to return to pending videos.

## Tracking Inbox badge

The navigation shows a **badge** with the count of pending videos. It updates as you include or exclude videos.
