# Shareable creator pages

> Give a creator a private, PIN-protected link where they can check their own analytics and payouts.

A **shareable page** is a private link you hand to a creator so they can see their own numbers (views, engagement, goals, and what they've earned) without an account, a login, or an invitation.

Every page is protected by a 4-digit **entrance PIN**. Nothing loads until the PIN is entered correctly, and the pages are excluded from search engines.

## What the creator sees

You choose one or both sections when you create the page:

| Section | Contents |
|---------|----------|
| **Analytics** | Total views, likes, comments, shares, followers, and engagement rate; a views-over-time chart with 7 / 30 / 90 day and all-time ranges; progress against their current goals; and a paginated list of their tracked videos with per-video stats. |
| **Payout accruals** | Total earned, awaiting payment, and paid to date; the payout terms they're on; every accrual with what earned it; and the payments you've recorded. |

The page shows your org name, the creator's name, and their platform handles. It shows nothing about other creators, other projects, or your internal notes.

> **Note:**
>
> Voided and rejected accruals and payments are never shown. Those are operator corrections, and surfacing them to a creator reads as money being taken away.

## The link format

Every shareable page lives at the same predictable address:

```
https://www.trackagoat.com/share/creator/<creator_id>
```

The payouts section is at `/share/creator/<creator_id>/payouts`.

That means anything holding a creator id, including an AI agent working against the API, can build the link without a lookup. It also means the URL itself is **not** a secret. The PIN is the access control, which is why we rate-limit and lock out repeated wrong guesses.

## Creating a page for one creator

**Step 1: Open the creator**

Go to the creator, then the **Info** tab.

**Step 2: Find Shareable page**

Scroll to the **Shareable page** section and click **Create shareable page**.

**Step 3: Choose what to include**

Tick **Analytics**, **Payout accruals**, or both. At least one is required.

**Step 4: Set a PIN**

Type a 4-digit PIN, or leave the field blank and one will be generated for you.

**Step 5: Send the link and PIN**

Copy the link and the PIN and send them to the creator.

Only **org admins** can create, change, delete, or reveal the PIN of a shareable page.

## Creating pages in bulk

**Step 1: Select creators**

On the **Creators** list, tick the creators you want.

**Step 2: Click Shareable Pages**

Click **Shareable Pages** in the bulk action bar.

**Step 3: Choose sections and PIN style**

Pick the sections, then choose whether each creator gets **their own PIN** (recommended) or whether the whole batch **shares one PIN**.

**Step 4: Copy the results**

The results table lists every creator with their link and PIN. Use **Copy all** or **Download CSV**. This is the only place the PINs appear together.

Creators who already have a page will have their settings replaced and a new PIN issued.

> **Warning:**
>
> A shared batch PIN is easier to announce to a cohort, but one leaked PIN opens every page in the batch. Prefer unique PINs unless you have a specific reason not to.

## Managing an existing page

From the creator's **Info** tab you can:

- **Copy the link** or open it in a new tab
- **Reveal and copy the PIN**: it stays masked until you click the eye icon
- **Change the sections** shown, with the toggles
- **Disable the page**: the link then shows a neutral "not available" message instead of data. Re-enabling reuses the same URL and PIN.
- **Regenerate the PIN**: issues a new one and immediately signs out anyone currently viewing the page
- **Delete the link** entirely

> **Note:**
>
> Because the URL is derived from the creator id, it can't be changed. If a link is shared with the wrong person, regenerate the PIN; that's what invalidates their access.

## Security

- **Nothing renders before the PIN is verified.** The locked page contains no creator data at all: not in the HTML, not in a background request.
- **Attempts are limited.** Ten wrong guesses locks further attempts for 15 minutes, applied both to the link and to the guesser's network address.
- **Unlocking lasts 30 days** via a secure, HTTP-only cookie scoped to that one link. Regenerating the PIN ends every session immediately.
- **Pages are not indexed.** They're excluded in `robots.txt` and carry a `noindex` directive.
- **Every failure looks the same.** A wrong PIN, a disabled link, a deleted link, and a creator id that never existed all return the same response, so the URL can't be used to probe for which creators exist.

## Using the API

Shareable pages are fully manageable through the v2 API, and every creator response carries a `share_link` object. See the [Share links API reference](https://www.trackagoat.com/docs/api-reference/share-links.md).

```bash
# Create a page and capture the PIN
curl -X POST -H "Authorization: Bearer tga_<key>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"show_analytics": true, "show_payouts": true}' \
  "https://www.trackagoat.com/api/v2/creators/<creator_id>/share-link"
```
