trackagoat docs

How to track creators, run campaigns and payouts, and connect trackagoat to your own tools and agents.

trackagoat tracks every post from your creators' public TikTok and Instagram accounts, adds them up by campaign, works out what each creator is owed from your payout structures, and compares campaigns, creators and videos in Insights. It's built TikTok first, and for teams that love working with coding agents: almost everything below can also be done through the REST API and the MCP server.

These docs cover setup, every feature, the REST API, and connecting AI agents. They're written for agents as well as people, and every page is also available as Markdown (add .md to its URL). To get going fast, start with the Quickstart, or set up with your coding agent.

What trackagoat tracks#

  • Creators: the people or brands in your program. Each creator owns one or more accounts on TikTok or Instagram.
  • Accounts: one platform presence. Followers, likes and posts are collected per account, and plan limits count accounts. See Creators and accounts.
  • Videos: every post from a tracked account, with views, likes, comments and (on TikTok) shares and saves over time.
  • Campaigns: groups of creators, videos and sub-campaigns whose stats roll up.
  • Goals and payouts: per-creator targets, and what each creator has earned under your payout rules.
  • Documents: every organization, project, campaign, creator, video and payout record has a Markdown document, and so does every teammate. Your team and its agents read them before acting and add what they find. See Notes and documents.

How data flows#

When you add an account or video, trackagoat queues an update. A background worker collects the public data and writes it to your org, and every number in the dashboard shows when it was last fetched. How long stats history is kept depends on your plan.
