Overview

trackagoat sends in-app notifications for key events. Notifications appear in the notification bell (🔔) in the top navigation bar.

Notification types

TypeWhen it fires
Invitation receivedSomeone invites you to join an org
Invitation acceptedA team member accepts your invitation
Limit warningYour org is approaching a plan limit

More notification types will be added as the product grows.

The notification bell

The bell icon shows an unread count badge. Click it to open the notification panel, where you can:

  • Read notification details
  • Click through to the relevant page
  • Mark all as read

Invitations

When you're invited to join an org, you'll receive:

  1. An email with an invite link (if email is configured)
  2. An in-app notification if you're already logged in

The invitation link takes you to an accept/decline page. Accepted invitations immediately grant you access to the org and redirect you to a welcome screen.

Invitations expire after a set period. If a link has expired, ask the org admin to re-send the invitation from Org settings → Members → Invitations.
