The main differences.
Each one says what trackagoat does and what ViewTrack does. ViewTrack’s side comes from its public website, checked October 10, 2026. The “API, MCP and agents” section was checked again on October 11, 2026.
API, MCP and agents.
The REST API and hosted MCP server (125 tools) are on every plan, including Free with 200 requests a day. They cover creators, videos, campaigns, goals, payouts and Insights.
Claude Code, Codex and other MCP clients connect by signing in or with an API key, and the docs are Markdown with an /llms.txt index.
More:Connect over MCP
ViewTrack lists scoped API keys for pulling accounts, videos and metrics into your own tools. Its site doesn’t list an MCP server or which plans include the API.

Creator pay.
You set up payout structures (Recurring, Goals-based, CPM, View Thresholds or Conversions) and see what each creator earned when a period closes.
Pay them from trackagoat, or pay your usual way and mark them paid.
More:How payouts work
ViewTrack’s site says its iOS app shows creators their earnings, but doesn’t say how pay is worked out or whether ViewTrack sends money.

Campaigns, goals and sharing.
Put creators and single videos into campaigns and see each campaign’s totals; a video that’s in there twice counts once.
Set a goal like 15 videos a week and see which creators are On Track, Behind Pace or At Risk.
More:Creator Goals
ViewTrack shows views, likes and comments across platforms on one chart, with live share links for clients.
Its site doesn’t list posting goals.

Where ViewTrack is better.
trackagoat doesn’t do everything. These are the things ViewTrack does that trackagoat doesn’t, or does more of.
- More platforms. ViewTrack covers TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Snapchat, Threads and Facebook. trackagoat tracks TikTok and Instagram.
- More videos for the money. ViewTrack’s plans keep 150 videos updating for $24.99 a month and 1,000 for $79.99, with unlimited accounts. trackagoat keeps 100 on Starter ($29) and 3,000 on Ultra ($399).
- Faster refresh on its top plan. ViewTrack Ultra refreshes every 6 hours.
- Sharing. Read-only live dashboards for clients. trackagoat’s shareable pages are per creator, with a PIN.
- A creator portal and iOS app, where creators submit posts and see their stats and earnings.
- Billing. Self-serve plans with 20% off yearly. trackagoat’s paid plans are monthly and set up by email for now.
