The main differences.

Each one says what trackagoat does and what viral.app does. viral.app’s side comes from its public website, checked October 10, 2026. The “API, MCP and agents” section was checked again on October 11, 2026.

API, MCP and agents.

trackagoat

The REST API and the hosted MCP server (125 tools) are on every plan. Free allows 200 requests a day, Starter 1,000 and Ultra 50,000.

An agent can also send payouts once an org admin turns on agent payments and sets a limit per payout and per 24 hours. No API key can turn that switch on, and each payment notes whether an agent sent it.

More:Connect over MCP

viral.app

viral.app’s API and hosted MCP server come with Ultra ($299 a month) and up. You can sign in or use an org API key, and its docs list ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Cursor and other clients.

Its docs say agents can’t start payouts. It also has signed webhooks, which trackagoat doesn’t.

Both pay creators. The fees and who moves the money are different.

trackagoat

trackagoat sends payouts through your connected payout account and doesn’t add a fee. The provider charges its usual fees.

If you pay some other way, mark the payout as paid with the amount, date, method and receipt.

viral.app

viral.app pays creators through its payout partner, Talentir, which acts as merchant of record and pays in 180+ countries. It adds a 3% fee on top of each payout.

Payout types.

trackagoat

Recurring, CPM and View Thresholds, plus Goals-based (paid when a creator meets their goals) and Conversions (paid per sign-up or purchase you send through the API). A creator can have several structures at once.

If a video shows up after a period closes, unpaid amounts are recalculated, and payments you’ve already recorded stay the same.

More:How payouts work

viral.app

viral.app campaigns pay a base rate per video, a fixed salary, CPM and bonuses at view thresholds, with caps.

A base rate per video is something trackagoat doesn’t have: its flat payouts are per period.

Which Instagram posts count.

trackagoat

trackagoat tracks Instagram Reels and posts, including carousels, and TikTok photo posts.

Instagram doesn’t show view counts on image posts, so those show likes and comments.

Goals and comments.

trackagoat

Creator Goals can count posts, views, engagement or followers gained, and each shows On Track, Behind Pace or At Risk.

On paid plans, Comment Insights collects comments on your creators’ videos and sorts them by sentiment, with a weekly digest of flagged comments.

  • More platforms. viral.app also tracks YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels and Snapchat Spotlight. trackagoat tracks TikTok and Instagram.
  • More videos for the money. Pro keeps 1,000 videos updating for $99 a month. trackagoat keeps 100 on Starter ($29) and 3,000 on Ultra ($399).
  • Paying creators worldwide. Talentir pays creators in 180+ countries by bank, PayPal, Venmo or stablecoins, in USD, EUR, CHF or GBP. trackagoat pays in US dollars through your connected payout account.
